cost of lookin’ good

Truth is, another problem with my diet is that i know I am going to have hanging sklin. I have talked about this before. I have the name of a couple of plastic surgeons and my doctor also recommended looking into a teaching hospitlal resident surgery. She said that residents have at least 5 years of surgical experience but need practice on real people performing real surgery so hospitals give a pretty good discount.
But i was still afraid of the cost…. envisioning $100,000+
Went looking online today. It is pricey but it is do’able. I only found the dr charges, not the hostipal, and when you add in the hospital cost I will probably have to go woth a teaching hospital and cross my fingers, but it is not going to run as much as i was afraid it would… not for the bare minimum, anyway.

Much relief.

  1. Good!

What did you look at? Whole body, middle, arms …? And what sorts of costs did you find?

I still like the concept of the teaching hospitals, as an option to keep on the table. Have you looked at the Baylor program? Other programs?

I am very glad that it is better than you were fearing.

  2. Unfortunetely I have my browser set to delete history when i turn it off and now i cannot find the sites i looked at before, but the cost (the average doctor fee only, not including hospital) was about $5000 for each thing i want done. I HAVE to have my belly done. That is a necessity. boobs and thighs and lower face run a close second. There are other things i would like to have done… back, face, and some body parts need a vertical lift and then a horizontal lift of you want them to look good… I know i could spend $100,000, easily, but, if i go to a teaching hospital and if i don’t try to completely remake myself, it would be possible.

When i was looking for a place that gave average prices again, I did find this place: http://www.locateadoc.com/articles.cfm/2163/1356 It has alot of good information if you would like to take a look.
