Here is another picture from a while back that I enjoy.
I’m not sure if anyone else would like this one or not; I am interested in feedback in the “yeah, nice shot” or “I guess you had to be there?” or whatever variety you care to leave.
Passing Train
Hmmmm I guess I fall in the “Guess you had to be there” group. I can see that the composition is nice with the building and tree on one side, the grass in the foreground, the bright yellow of the train, but to me it’s just a photo. What makes it especially appealing to you?
I like the contrasts. Dark foreground, bright sky. Clean bright yellow train, old graffiti covered train car. Old building to the right, newer roofline on the left.
There is a certain amount of “well, that’s boring” to the picture, yet I keep coming back to it. It makes me smile.
