If anyone stops by the house these days, be on the watch for an Aleah on the go. She has gotten the idea that walking is something she can really do, not just something to do when going between the coffee table and the couch. She has been seen walking the length of our living room, for some measure of how far she can get before sitting down again.
While we don’t have a walking picture on hand right now, here’s one of her standing.
I did stop by without reading this first and Aleah is definitely walking. What most impresses me is that when she plops down she gets back where she is without having to hold onto anything. She has very good balance when she stands.
She is growing up so fast…….
I’ll add that a week or so ago she wouldn’t try to walk without a chair/table/person/other support.
Now she is walking around the bookstore as we follow a few steps behind, happy as can be.
Amazing what a week can do.
