Did it taste good? At least?
It’s not just the spelling .. it’s also the terrible penmanship (though it’s hard with a frosting tube), the lack of any attempt at centering … and the really horrible job on the scalloped borders.
It’s reaching a level of horribleness that’s almost transcendent.

I really should have at least had the cheese.
And yes the penmanship and centering are terrible. And she messed up the H on Happy and scraped it off leaving a messy smear of yellow-green under the new H. I feel sorry for her though. Luke said she was trying and stressed. Walmart…. the fewest and least skilled employees they can manage with.
Actually the scallops and sprinkles were not too badly done. Irregular and obviously done in a hurry, but acceptable. It would have been nice if any effort had been made to match the color of the writing to the color of the scallops. (On second thought, they probably did try to match color)
As for flavor, it was better than expected. The frosting is, of course excessively sweet but the flavor is fine. The cake is not dry (chocolate).
I have started making my own ice cream. I made chocolate pudding ice cream for the cake and it went very well with it. (scrape off the all but the top frosting or it gets icky)
My recipe for chocolate pudding ice cream:
2 cups prepared and cooled Jello cook and serve chocolate pudding (prepared with low fat milk)
1 cup milk and 1 cup whipping cream or 2 cups half and half.
1 cup buttermilk
1 t vanilla
Stir till smooth and freeze
The ice cream reminds me of a wendy’s frosty only not as sweet.
You are right about the perfect horribleness of the cake lol Every time i look at it i smile. It’s such a mess…. They could not have done as well if they had been trying to make it look bad. Happy Briday 🙂
