New address

The move is almost completed – we’ll be out of here on Saturday.

So for anyone keeping track, here is the new contact information:

14717 Vine Street
Thornton, CO 80602

303 452-3077

That’s the new phone number. However, if anyone is updating phone numbers, may I suggest updating to my forwarding number instead – 970 480-7529. That number will be mine forever. Well, as long as both I and Google Voice are around, anyway.

  1. Google voice number now added to my phone and all other numbers are gone. Every time I’ve called it has taken me a good couple minutes to figure out which number of the many I should try first.

  2. Ramona, made note of address. Glad you are nearer Denver. Hope it works out well. Send pictures.

Chris, You should get a google voice #. I am asked for your # sometimes and it is very hard not to give it. It is so blasted rude. But if you had a google number you could pick how certain numbers reached you and what recorded message they got. You could even set it so all but specified numbers go to your leave a message recording. Then you would not have to be bothered and i could hand your phone number out without all this angst.

Nelia, you have a google voice #. Use it!!! (It’s (724) 635-5299 or 724- neljazz, by the way)

  3. Chris – learn more at voice.google.com. It’s invitation only, but Mom or I would be glad to set you up with an invitation.

I don’t know if you have to have a gmail account .. you have to log in, and you can use your gmail account to do so, but I think you can create an account just for GV (google voice). You can’t associate multiple google accounts with a single GV account – if both you & Christina have gmail accounts, you’d be better off getting a new account you’d share for the GV number.

I am using my GV for my work number, since I work from home and hate giving random work-related-strangers my home number. It isn’t quite yet a perfect system (I’ve sent them some requested features), but that’s ok; it’s still an invite-only space under development, so that’s to be expected.

I like it. You could try calling me using the GV number and see how it sounds.

  4. I’ve been interested, but not enough to hunt down an invite in the past.

Thought they were on lock down for invites right now; if ya’ll have one, I’d try it out though.
